Most of us have heard of a bucket list. Just in case you haven’t, it’s a list of things you want to do before you die (kick the bucket).
Up until recently, I thought it was something that ‘old people’ did to make them feel better that their lives were almost over. I was SO WRONG!
A bucket list is a powerful thing for a few reasons:
- It gets you thinking of the things you REALLY want to do in your life, the places you REALLY want to go, and the things you want to ACHIEVE, and the person you want to BE.
- It focuses your energy, because you have a starting point to help you plan your holidays, your goals, your years, months and days
- It gives you a PURPOSE!
- It gives you direction, clarity and something to works towards, as well as something to look forward to. This is ESPECIALLY important for people who have lost someone close to them. See my previous post “Choose Life!” for more info.
